About rootStories
At rootStories, we believe that the stories of our ancestors are not just a collection of names and dates, but a collection of events, moments, and memories that give real meaning to our past and create a legacy that spans generations. Our mission is to help nurture and preserve the memories and heritage of the hundreds of thousands of Hungarians who emigrated to the New World.
The family history books created in the rootStories book workshop follow the lives of ancestors who emigrated to the New World and their descendants. The living family chronicles collected in these volumes offer a unique glimpse into the past and help make these stories tangible to a wider audience, showcasing the courage and perseverance of several generations of Hungarians on both sides of the ocean.
